The town of Bradley Beach is in close proximity to the backwaters of the Shark River. The Shark River inlet is a key fishing spot, with jetties, strong current, and lots of bait fish at the right time of the year.  Hook up a menhaden (bunker) and hold on for a drag screaming striper or blue fish run.  If you wanna get your sea legs on, there are several six-pack charters and head boats operating out of the Shark River.
